Microscopy Lab

Explore a range of biomedical science subjects in our Microscopy Lab. Study at the intersection of Science and Technology with integrated microscopy teaching tools.

Mega Science Lab

Designed for some of our most popular chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology units, gain foundational scientific skills and conduct a range of experiments in this modern, 100-seater teaching laboratory.

Environmental Lab

Grow your understanding of the natural world and explore eDNA, water science, conservation ecology and genomics in this custom-built laboratory, equipped with both geological and living specimens.

Practical experience

Step out of the classroom and into the real world with hands-on experience built into all of our Science degrees. Through a range of internships, field work and practical projects, you'll gain the industry experience you need to hit the ground running when you graduate.

Research and industry projects

Work with our world-class research centres and scientists on a range of research projects. Whether it's researching cures for chronic disease or conserving vulnerable lizard species, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of real-world, high-impact research at UC.

  • Centre for Conservation Ecology and Genomics – this centre is committed to protecting our environment to ensure it remains diverse, healthy and productive for future generations.
